Neil Hughes
Growing up in West Wales, there was little doubt that rugby would be one of the great passions of my life. I played with great enthusiasm and little talent for over 20 years and when my body gave out I turned my attention to watching.
These days, I combine my other passion of travel with my love of the game and have travelled the globe watching Llanelli Scarlets, Wales and the British Lions.
Having moved to Essex around 20 years ago, I realised recently that for all my globetrotting I didn’t really know the area on my doorstep and have been exploring the history of this most ancient and misunderstood area of England. I will be bringing some of my discoveries to this forum too.
By profession, I am an IT Consultant with 20 years experience.
I am also a professional photographer, offering wedding, portrait and event photography in Essex
